Time Track Productions presents the critically acclaimed INVISIBLE, an hour-long movement/theater/media work that explores the narratives and perspectives of women navigating the aging process. The work integrates a performing company of 10 women, ages 25-78. Projected imagery by Steve Paul, sound score by Michelle Kinney and Chris Cunningham.
INVISIBLE is a work about changing the perception of women’s bodies. As we age, we are not seen, not acknowledged, simply because of our age. At a time when most women experience increased wisdom, clarity and mental acuity, subtle condemnation and cultural stereotypes relentlessly expound glorious youth, particularly as we outlive our “value” as a sexual being. Through this work we create an alternate narrative, more substantive and imaginative than what is currently in the mainstream.
